Great food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. Assadaura de Porco Preto is one of the best pork dishes I've ever experienced. Fantástico!

Such a nice spot. We sat in the sun and enjoyed their house white wine with a yummy serra de estrela cheese starter. I ordered the frango tosta, which was sublime and my husband loved his Café de Vila pasta. Monchique is such a beautiful little town and this hearty lunch made the experience even better!

I've been going here since I was 12 (im now 34) and it has always been a good choice for lunch. Felipe, the owner, has created a warm and inviting atmosphere and has hired the most lovely staff who obviously enjoy their jobs. The food just gets better and better too.

Unexpectedly, not a tourist trap, but a very nice place; recommendations from the waiter was excellent; the Black Pork and the Tostas were great! The staff is very friendly and welcoming!
Really good place with a nice patio. Food and service were amazing. Worth the price, we really recommend.

this cafe was amazing ! We had the special omelette, Ham omelette, vegetable soup and garlic bread and it was all lovely. So cheap and they do amazing Aperol Spritz. A relaxing vibe with friendly staff. Couldn't recommended it more !!!
Great small cafe. Our group of 4 enjoyed a mid-afternoon lunch. Attentive service. Great flavored meal. We enjoyed the Assadura de porco preto, Tâbua mistake, and Pasta de sardinha.

Had an amazing lunch yesterday. Super friendly staff. Food was great. I had a house special, black boar pork cheek in cut wit herbs and olive oil. Really good....recommended. my wife had mamas fried eggs over chips and chorizo, huge portion very good. Go for it you will not regret.
